The music video for Black White & Blue by Ladyhawke recreates iconic imagery from the 1970s film Eyes of Laura Mars.
The Robot Book is “a narrative series of photographs depicting a robot living a sort of post-apocolyptic nightmare in the woods of upstate New York,” but the photos are so well-constructed, the story is evident from viewing them. Photographer Thomas Jackson created a series of 11 books from a ”combination of organic, manufactured and mechanical components,” including salvaged wood, sheet metal and electronics. The artist’s new work shows the robot’s ultimate fate. (via)
